June 19, 2011 No Comments

It’s going to be another blockbuster summer thanks to Elliot Wilhelm’s phenomenal programming… weekend is a perfect example:  the DFT 101 Matinee Series is offering the timely “Battle of Algiers’ on June 25th at 4pm.  This 1966(unbelievable!!) classic, scored by Enio Morricone, is disturbing and intense, clearly “must see cinema’….the weekend is also offering “Bill Cunningham New York”( June 24, 25th at 7pm, June 26th 2pm) and the UK film ” Third Star” (June 24th, 25th @ 9:30)……What a gift for those of us who love movies….thank you DFT!!!!!
