This Week at the DFT: The Well Digger’s Daughter and Step Up to the Plate

October 8, 2012 No Comments

The fall season is in full swing at the Detroit Film Theatre.  In addition to the Story of Film, parts 5 and 6, take time for the new French film “The Well Digger’s Daughter,” directed by Daniel Auteuil, and the tasty Oedipal culinary film “Step Up to the Plate” (the French title is “Entre les Bras” and refers to the great French chef and his son–and not the Detroit Tigers).

The Well Digger’s Daughter:  Friday, October 12 at 7:30 and Saturday, October 13 at 7pm

Step Up to the Plate:  Friday, October 12 at 9:45 and Saturday October 13 at 9:30,  Sunday October 14 at 7pm
