The Reel Deal is proud to present the first installment in our film series “Amour”  on Sunday, September 22 at 1pm.

This masterpiece by director Michael Haneke was nominated for best picture and best foreign film in 2012 (it won for best foreign film)

We are privileged to have Professor Thomas Wartenberg discussing the film.  Dr. Wartenberg is a well-known philosopher who writes extensively about film and has a special interest in the philosophy of relationships.

Matthew Sherman is our psychoanalytic discussant, who is an expert on the films of Haneke.

Please join us at the beautiful Bloomfield Library for an afternoon of riveting discussion!
