The Detroit Film Theater Goes to The Toronto Film Festival: September 4-7

June 17, 2014 No Comments

The Detroit Film Theater is sponsoring its annual trek to the Toronto Film Festival on the opening weekend!

Join DFT curator Elliot Wilhelm who once again will lead his group of intrepid cinephiles through premieres of the year’s most influential films.

The DFT offers several packages that simplify the experience:  transportation by train, lodging at the centrally located Marriot, six tickets (yes OF COURSE you can enhance your stay by adding more!!!), an opening dinner at AGO and morning breakfast and discussion with Elliot and the group.

Those of us who keep returning do so because the experience only gets better.  There is a combination of “must sees” that are sprinkled with unimagined surprises, midnight madness and classic films.  Oh, and who can resist a Q and A with the director present???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time is moving quickly.  If you are interested, follow the registration directions on the Detroit Film Theater website.  If you are unable to attend, keep an eye out for updates from the Reel Deal Mind!!

See you at the movies! (And hopefully in Toronto)
