The Redford Theater Presents: Alfred Hitchcock’s “Shadow of a Doubt”

January 2, 2014 No Comments

The Redford Theater scores again with Alfred Hitchcock’s classic ‘Shadow of a Doubt” screening this weekend:

Friday January 3 at 8pm

Saturday January 4 at 8pm

Saturday January 4 at 2pm

Hitchcock considered this film his “personal favorite.”  Teresa Wright and Joseph Cotten star in this Thorton Wilder-adapted story that blows the lid off the fantasy of  complacent small town living. (How timely is that?)

Joseph Cotten’s  chilling portrayal repositions evil in the center of the “everyman”, this time embodied by “Uncle Charlie.” a character at the heart of any typical American family.

The magnificent Redford is the perfect venue for experiencing these classic films.  Lovingly restored, with old-school prices AND the famous pipe organ intemission, this is an event too special to miss.

See you at the Redford!
